The Game Girls Are Made to Play by Jefferson... →
A lot of times we don’t necessarily think critically about how or why a biblical principle exists, but instead we just act upon assumption. I see this extremely true in regards to how girls approach the issue of guys “pursuing” them. Generally speaking most girls have been taught—either through… Okay.

missiodeiasheville: But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, that your fasting may not be seen by others but by your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you. (Matt. 6:17-18) Today is Fat Tuesday, the traditional name for the day before Ash Wednesday, the first…

White Flag Project: Gospel Paradoxes →
whiteflagxp: One can reside in a free nation, yet be bound in spiritual chains. One can live in dungeon shackles, yet be free as a bird, in Christ. One can have 20/20 vision, yet be blind to all spiritual truth. One can be physically blind from birth, yet see clear as day, in Christ. One can acquire billions…

"Paul, unphased" by Matt Chandler
Them: We'll kill you.
Paul: To die is gain.
Them: We'll leave you alone.
Paul: To live is Christ.
Them: We'll torture you.
Paul: I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Them: We'll put you in prison.
Paul: Well, give me a hymnal; I'll convert all your guards and lead them in praise and worship.

Tonight
My band played for a fundraiser for summer missionaries. All of my friends came, and as I looked out in the audience, they were singing along with all of my songs. They are the first to hear the songs, and they hear them often, and they still sing along when they hear them for the 47th time. That means more to me than they will ever know. So sweet.
